Talbott Recovery’s Outpatient Day Treatment Program offers a comprehensive range of services, addressing both substance abuse and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. We pride ourselves in offering treatment of addictive disorders using the medical model. We individualize the treatment to the unique needs of every patient. Our treatment philosophy and practices are based on over 38 years of highly successful and effective treatment experiences in our traditional longer-term addiction recovery program at Talbott Recovery Campus in Atlanta.
Outpatient Day Treatment Program Content:
Each patient receives an individualized outpatient treatment plan designed to address issues specific to them. Some examples of our treatment modalities are:
- Medical and psychological evaluation
- Spiritual groups
- Process groups
- Patient education series
- Recovery skills training
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd step education and integration practice
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills training
- Individual sessions with case manager
- Family therapy
- Weekly sessions with attending physician
- Random drug screens
- Comprehensive continuing care planning
- Treatment for military veterans
- Treatment for activity duty and retired military and their dependents at our Columbus facility
- Ambulatory Detox available
- Medication-assisted treatment available at our Columbus facility
Candidates for the Outpatient Drug & Alcohol Program
Talbott’s Outpatient Day Treatment Program for outpatient substance abuse treatment is designed for people 18 years of age and older who are struggling with substance abuse disorders and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. Patients may reside at home or in a nearby recovery residence while he/she is undergoing our outpatient alcohol rehab & drug treatment.

Talbott Recovery works with all insurance companies and also offers financing options for any treatment costs not covered by insurance.

What if the Outpatient Day Treatment Program is not enough?
Talbott Recovery’s services are designed to complement, and easily integrate into, our traditional longer-term programs at our main campus, if clinically indicated. Treatment recommendations are based on the clinical assessment of the patient and his/her progress in the program.
