Located in a convenient and private setting, Talbott Recovery Dunwoody Young Adult Outpatient Program offers a comprehensive range of services through a (5 days per week/6 hours per day) treatment program for outpatient drug & alcohol rehab. The program provides a comprehensive range of services, addressing both substance abuse and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. We pride ourselves in offering treatment of addictive disorders using the medical model. We individualize the treatment to the unique needs of every patient. Our treatment philosophy and practices are based on over 38 years of highly successful and effective treatment experiences in our traditional longer-term addiction recovery program at Talbott Recovery Campus in Atlanta. Talbott Recovery has thousands of alumni from all across North America who have successfully completed our programs and are living happy and productive lives.
Program Content:
Each patient receives an individualized treatment plan designed to address issues specific to them.

- Morning spiritual
- Step group
- Addiction education/recovery skills training
- Process group
- Anger group
- Grief group
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills group
- Yoga
- Family support group
- Family assessment and family therapy
- Peer support group
- Aftercare group
Once the day treatment phase is complete, patients usually step down to our intensive outpatient phase, based upon their clinical progress. This allows patients to resume school or work.
Recovery residences are available for those needing a clean, supportive living environment while in the treatment program.If residing in our recovery residences during our young adult addiction programs, all patients will attend scheduled community meetings and activities.
Insurance Coverage
Please call the Talbott Recovery Intake Department and speak with one of our specialists who will assist you to get the best utilization of any available insurance benefits. Talbott Recovery works with all insurance companies and also offers financing options for any treatment costs not covered by insurance.
Talbott Recovery is not an approved Medicare/Medicaid provider.
What if Outpatient Treatment is not enough?
Our services are designed to compliment, and easily integrate into, our traditional longer-term program for young adults at our main campus, if clinically indicated. Treatment recommendations are based on the clinical assessment of the patient and his/her progress in the program.
