Kate Wrightson, MS, PhD, LAPC

Improvement, & Medical Records – Originally from Portland, Oregon, Kate Wrightson earned an undergrad degree in English literature from University of Chicago before returning to University of Oregon for her master’s in the same subject. Wrightson went on to earn her MS in clinical mental health counseling from Mercer University and PhD from University of Georgia in higher education (with a dual focus on history and institutional administration). A Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia, Wrightson’s diverse career path has shared a common thread of listening to people tell their stories. She’s grateful to get to see lives change every day, something that has an impact on everyone in the building, regardless of their role. When not busy at work, Wrightson enjoys travel, photography and making things by hand.
