Dr. Kim Venable

Board Certified General/Addiction Psychiatrist, ABPN HIMS-Qualified Psychiatrist

Dr. Kim Venable is a double-board certified psychiatrist specializing in general and addiction psychiatry.  She graduated from the International University of the Health Sciences in St. Kitts, Nevis.  She completed her general psychiatry residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta GA and her addiction fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta GA. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), Georgia Psychiatric Physicians Association (GPPA), American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP) and American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). 

Her clinical interests include mood disorders and addiction treatment. Addiction often disconnects one from their loved ones while not being able to see their disease.  Her passion is helping those struggling with addiction to live a healthy life in recovery.
