Andrea Williams joined the Talbott Recovery team as a primary therapist at Talbott Recovery at Dunwoody in May 2014. After several years of experience working with individuals and their loved ones to build healthier lives without the burden of addiction, she transitioned to Clinical Director in July 2019. A believer in building strong, healthy connections with her patients, she seeks to help them create a fulfilled and worthwhile life.
Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kennesaw State University and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of North Georgia.
She enjoys integrating creativity in the treatment process, allowing self-awareness to take various forms, including art, writing and experiential activities. Over the course of her career, Williams has gained depth of experience working with co-occurring disorders, always aiming to have fun and laugh with clients as they grow and change. In her spare time, she loves crafting, yoga and reading.
