Honor Strong Program
The Honor Strong Program at Talbott Recovery is a short-term, partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) to help first responders return to duty or to help support them while they continue to provide care and service to others. Treatment includes group and individual therapy, helping first responders build upon existing skills that they already use to overcome the challenges they face in their daily job duties.
The Honor Strong Program is a resiliency focused, trauma-informed program that provides treatment and education on an outpatient basis for:
- Emergency Healthcare Professionals
- Law enforcement
- Firefighters
- EMTs
- Corrections officers
- Dispatchers
- Crime scene technicians
- GA HERO’s (Highway Emergency Response Operators)
Topic areas include:
- Grief
- Vicarious Trauma
- Working/Life Balance
- Helping others with their emotional needs
- Managing Guilt
- Mindfulness techniques
- Addiction
Services are provided Monday through Friday.
